What would you do if everything you thought came to be?  Would you keep thinking of things not knowing how it would turn out? Would you wish for elaborate things to happen? Making all your dreams and wishes come true.

I bet most of you would, but not William Balder, hell all he wants is his family safe and for the bad man to go away. 

Not as simple as it seems though. Bad things happen. The bearded man shows up in a dream, and William soon wishes it had stayed that way. No matter what he tried, everything he thinks happens and he can't seem to make it stop.

Until...well, I cannot tell you everything but believe me, this book has what you want to get your imagination flowing and have you thinking what if.....

Sometimes I wish I had the powers to make things happen, but after reading this book I have rethought that.  

The writing is amazing, it pulls you in and keeps you interested right from the very first words. It found it hard to put the book down until it was finished, and now that it is I just wanna pick up the second and find out more....lol  

Hopefully this poor mans life gets better, oh wait, no I want more action....lol  Things can only get more interesting from here. Run out and get yourself a copy of this book, I sear you will not regret it and it will have you thinking twice about making wishes....lol

  I have to say, I have read a lot of BDSM and Erotica over the years and never have I been as intrigued by a book as I did with this one.

Never having fully been sated in hunger involving sex Jasmine seeks other means of sexual release. She finds herself at the Black Lily Club, and looking in to the eyes of the most beautiful man she has ever seen. She feels things never had she felt before.

She also gets involved in things she had never tried before, but always been curious. Only to fins she loves it. She loves the new world she had stepped into and finds herself falling more into the world and the man involved in the world.

She must make a choice by the end to walk away and never look back, or to fully emerse herself in the life and the love of this new world, what will she choose?

Now I will start off by saying I was given this book in return for an honest review.

How to start this....WOW.

This book is amazing. It makes you think about life for real. Anyone you left behind, anyone you have unfinished business with romantically.

Riley gets her second chance to finally end things in her mind, body and soul about how she feels for Mike Taylor, a guy who hurt her so bad in high school it left deep scars.

But when she finally gets that chance, she can't go through with it. Too much has happened in the meantime, and after finally being back with him it overwhelmed her. Her need for closure was too much.

But believe me, by the end of the book I was crying at how amazingly things went. Who would have ever guessed that you could have a second chance at something so.....Well read the book and find out.

The writing is amazing, I never wavered one bit in my reading and was able to follow along so well...well..that is when my body was not tingling with the way  certain situations were described. Damn, is the only way to put it.

I definitely wished there would be more. I wanted it to never end. Maybe in the future there will be more to this luscious tale but who knows, I will just have to wait and see.  Until then, I look forward to anything Kim Carmichael puts her writing to as it will no doubt be just as delicious.

 Seriously. This was one of the most nail biting books I have read in a long time The story starts off a little slow, but when it hits you, believe me IT HITS.

You meet a really awesome girl named Jillian who doesn't seem to realise just how special she really is. She has something that others want Those others being Vampires. Some good and some bad people. She is also in a very bad situation and has a guardian angel try to warn her off but she is stubborn.

Things seems to be at their worst at times, but this feisty woman makes the most of it and wins back herself....or so she thinks. She has some serious choices to make and they will either alter her life forever or...well either way her life will never be the same again after what she goes through. You really do need to read it to get the full effect and find out more All I can say is, it will change your view on Vampires and life in general. It opens doors that have never been opened before and I loved it.

I am so glad I read this book, and anxiously await more, as I NEED to know what happens or I may burst from waiting.  Seriously, it left at such a cliffhanger I am dying to know what happens to everyone.

Interview with Belinda Boring

This is my interview with the wonderful Belinda Boring, Author of The mystic Wolves Series, and the Brianna Lane Series Broken Promises.

1.  How do you come up with your characters?

Most times I come up with the book’s storyline from a dream or something that sparked my imagination. Once I have a general idea of what’s happening I start thinking about who it involves. I pay attention to how I’m feeling—looking for the traits that connect me to the character. I do the same when I’m trying to find out their names. I look through lists of my favorite names and see which one sticks. This may seem strange but then I ask the character, “Is this you?”

2.  How long does it take to think up the characters?

It doesn’t take me too long, it’s probably one of the quickest parts of the process. Once I have the storyline, characters present themselves and it’s like a snowball rolling down a hill—it picks up pace until they’re like real people inside my head. It’s one of my favorite parts of writing!

3.  What inspired the series?

Broke Promises came from a dream I had! I woke up in the morning with three distinct images—blue eyes, violence, and blood. I couldn’t shake it so after sharing it with my BFF, she suggested I write it down. The ideas turned into an outline and by the end of the day I’d developed a three story synopsis. It was exciting because Broken Promises was my first attempt at seriously writing.

4.  Are your characters based on real life people?

Hmmm, well for anyone who knows me when they read how clumsy Bri is knows that’s me! I couldn’t resist putting small elements of myself into her character … I’ve actually done that with all the heroines I write. Lacey and James are real people—my BFF and her hubby, but other than that, I imagined the snarky sexiness of Ian Somerhalder/Damon Salvatore when writing converted Quinn.

5.  What was your favorite chapter to write and why?

I don’t know if I have just one favorite chapter BUT there are two that stand out. The first is the memory Bri had when she first met Quinn. I’m an avid romance reader so I could imagine the fun banter between them as he read from her book and blushed. I loved seeing that side of Quinn and I’m not going to lie … he made my stomach dip with how flirty he was.

The second chapter was toward the end of the book where Bri is alone with Quinn in the alleyway … making out! He is just so sexy and even though he’s converted, I could understand the appeal. Of course, it includes Liam interrupting them and I LOVE the dynamics between the two guys. It was definitely a fun scene to write!

6.  What do you do when you are not writing?

I love spending time with my family and friends. I love reading … LOVE, LOVE, LOVE reading and watching some of my favorite shows. I enjoy going for drives and talking—the longer the road trip the better! I also LOVE going to watch my local high school varsity football team play every Friday night. It’s amazing therapy once a week to jump up and down and cheer until I lose my voice. #GoLOBOS

7.  When did you first start writing and when did you finish your first book?

It’s funny. When I was first encouraged to write, I was adamant I’d never published. The idea of someone reading it terrified me. Then I met my BFF and she suggested it as well. At that point I’d written some fan fiction and when I had a story idea from a dream … one thing led to another. That was about two years ago and that first book was Broken Promises. Another dream interrupted me finishing it (those sexy Mystic Wolves demanded my attention) but it feels so amazing to finally have Broken Promises released. I’m so proud of it!

8.  Do you work with an outline, or just write?

I do a little of both. I like having a general idea about the story and what direction I’m heading  but also love the flexibility to let the characters dictate. The deeper I get into writing, the chattier they are and I love some of the twists that surface. I learned real fast to listen to them—they’ve never steered me wrong.

9.  What do you think makes a good story?

For me as a reader and writer, aside from the obvious great characters and well developed storyline, I think emotion is important. The ability to connect with what’s happening and invest into the lives of the characters takes the words off the page and whisks you away. And without a doubt … swoon. I love romance—the anticipation, the passion, those toe curling moments!

10.  Do you have any advice to give to aspiring writers?

Don’t be afraid to make connections with readers. The experience doesn’t just stop when they purchase the book … it’s so much more. Some of my best memories this past year has been chatting with people—whether on Facebook, emailing, messaging, or at conventions. Readers don’t just want to know about the book, they want to know about YOU, the author. Be yourself and have fun. It’s worth it!

This was a very well written book.  If you like things like werewolves, vampires, Bruja, and Brujura then this is the book for you. These woman fight for their lives, literally, against the Reaper, and Satan. In order to stay alive they must make deals and do whatever they can to break a pact that was made ages ago, and not by them. 

The writing is very easy to follow, and you wll soon find yourself picking sides. At the same time you will be wondering how others who you have met, will play a role in all things.  You will find out about some, but not about others, leaving you wanting more form the story then this book holds. 

I know I for one an waiting for the second book now. I need to find out what happens, and if they get out of this mess without anything more happening. 

Trust me, you will want to find out more as well if you read this book. And I highly recommend it.

Interview with DJ Shaw

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing author DJ Shaw. She is responsible for short stories in Grim Vengeance, Sinister Seductions and more. And soon to be released Wiccan Lies. You definitely need to get in on her work, she is amazing. Read more about here in the following interview:

1. When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

I was about 15 when I decided that I wanted to be a writer. My 8^th grade Creative Writing/English teacher took great interest in my creative writing assignments and encouraged me to continue with it.

2. How long does it take you to write a book?

It took me eight years (give or take a year) to finish my novella “Wiccan Lies”. My short stories take me about 3-4 days (if RL doesn’t interfere much lol).

3. What is your work schedule like when you're writing?

I have a day job for about four-five hours a day, so I don’t usually get any writing done or even get on the computer during the week until around eight at night until about midnight. My weekends are free from the day job but I have five children so I try to do as much writing as I can on Saturdays and Sundays during the day, as well as at night.

4. What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?

I chair dance. I know that may sound weird but I listen to music more often than not when I’m writing and if a good song comes on and I’m stuck in a particular scene, I will dance in my chair until I get past it.

5. How do books get published?

Well, I’m still pretty new to this whole published thing, but the best way I know how to explain the process is this: You write it, edit it, revise it if needed, submit to many publishing companies/publishers and wait to find out if it will be accepted. After that I’m kind of lost. I was fortunate to come across an amazing independent publishing company, Crushing Hearts and Black Butterfly when I was researching and looking for places to submit “Wiccan Lies”. I hadn’t finished my manuscript yet so I knew I couldn’t submit it to anyone yet, so I submitted for two of their anthologies and my stories were accepted. I also submitted a story to Hot Ink Press (an Imprint of CH&BB) for one of their anthologies and it was also accepted. These anthologies are available now on Amazon: “Sinister Seductions”, “Darkest Desires” and “Grim Vengeance”. I have a total of four short stories out there right now.

6. Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

Information for my books, I do research on certain aspects of my stories and books.

Ideas I get everywhere. If someone says something I feel is interesting, instant idea. Or I can see a certain picture that will get my creative juices flowing and give me ideas as well.

7. When did you write your first book and how old were you?

I started writing “Wiccan Lies” when I was about 26 years old. But I have been writing poetry and short stories for longer than that. I just hadn’t been brave enough to show the world until recently. Usually only close friends and family had seen my work.

8. What do you like to do when you're not writing?

 I like to read, dance and sing. I like to play with my five kiddos as well when I’m not writing

9. What does your family think of your writing?

My family is a huge support for my writing. They are all very happy to see me doing what I have been striving to do for a few years now. Writing is something of a passion for me and I can’t ever imagine myself NOT writing

10. What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?

The depths of my imagination. I knew that I had a very vivid imagination but I didn’t know that I could dig so deep as to write some pieces that I never thought I could. Two of these pieces are in “Grim Vengeance” and that is when I learned that I could be just as dark and scary as I could be romantic and erotic.
